Things You Can Think And Improve On In 7 Days
I seem to have missed the number of times I’ve read and heard
about celebrity marriages failing almost left and right. It seems strange that
we often see movie and TV stars as impeccable people, living the life of tales
of riches and glamor. I guess we all have to stop sticking our heads in the
clouds and face reality.
There are many ways to lose your self-esteem, no matter how
trivial it may be. But whatever happens, we should all try not to lose our
sense.
So what needs to be a cut above the rest? Here are some
things you can think about and improve in a week.
Know your passions
You know who you are and what you enjoy in life. Obstacles
such as doubt and lack of enthusiasm will not only make it difficult for you,
but you will also not miss the opportunity to become the person you need to be.
Express yourself and honor the people who inspired you to become the person you
wanted to be.
Know your purpose
Will you wander through life with little direction: in the
hope of finding happiness, health, and prosperity? Identify the purpose of life
or the statement of your mission and you will have your unique compass that
will take you to your truth north every time.
This can seem tricky at first when you see yourself on a very
narrow street or even dead end. But there is always this little loophole to
turn things around and you can make a big difference for yourself.
Know your needs
Unmet needs can prevent you from living authentically. Take
care of yourself. Do you need to be recognized, to be right, to control, to be
loved? Some so many people lived a life without realizing their dreams and most
end up stressed or even depressed by this issue. Make a list of the four main
needs and meet them before it’s too late.
Live from the inside
out
Increase awareness of your inner wisdom by regularly
reflecting in silence. Communicate with nature. Take a deep breath to calm your
distracted mind. For most people who use the city, it’s hard to find even the
peace of mind we desire even in our own home. In my case, I often sit in a
dimly lit room and play classical music. It’s not loud, yes, but the music
calms the wild beast.
Serve others
When you live authentically, you may develop a sense of being
interconnected. When you are faithful to who you are, living your purpose and
giving your talent to the world around you, you delay in service what you came
to share with others - your spirit - your essence. The benefits of sharing your
gift with those around you are truly rewarding, especially if it’s in the eyes
of a stranger who can appreciate what you’ve done to them.
Self-improvement is, in fact, a kind of work worth doing. It
shouldn't always be within the confines of an office building, or maybe in the
four corners of your room. The difference lies in ourselves and how much we
want to change for the better.
Respect your strengths
What are your positive traits? What special talent do you
have? List three: If you get hooked, ask your loved ones to help you identify
them. Are you imaginative, witty, good with your hands? Find ways to express
your true self through your strengths. You can increase your self-confidence
when you can share what you know with others.
Know your values
What do you value most? Make a list of the top 5 values. Some
examples are security, freedom, family, spiritual development, learning. As you
set goals for 2005, check your goals based on your values. If the goal does not
align with any of the top five values, you may want to rethink or revise it.
The number should not discourage you, but should motivate you
to do more than you might dream.
